Breathing Through Words

The pen is mightier than the sword.

Are you anxious at night when you go to bed? Does your brain refuse to switch off when you want to relax?

Breathing Through Words is run in conjunction with Donegal Wellness Centre. It is for those who want to find another way of relaxing, clearing their mind and releasing their stress. Putting pen to paper is a powerful way to acknowledge your emotions whether they are happy or sad ones.

These workshops are run with a maximum of 10 participants, encouraging reflection and the space to breathe through your words. There is a mindfulness element to the workshop which helps to bring your focus to the here and now.

Benefits to you

  • Clear your mind
  • Destress
  • Acknowlege emotions and thoughts on paper
  • Write what you feel, not what you think you’re expected to write
  • Keep track of your moods

Small groups encourage connection and valuable discourse, so no one is alone with their emotions.
